Filmed on 6/20/07 - Indianapolis, IN - Elliott Blount of the Oregon Track Club Elite team talks about his best workout of the 2007 track season and discusses the dynamics of competing against his teammate Brandon Shaw before the 2007 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The pair discuss Blount's 1:46.79 win at the 2007 Jim Bush Classic at Occidental College nipping Shaw at the line (1:46.87) and the status of the "series."
Elliott Blount was an All-American at the University of Connecticut and has personal bests of 1:46.39 in the 800m and 3:59.6 in the mile. Upon graduating from UConn Blount traveled to Palo Alto, CA to train with the Nike Farm Team and qualified for the 2004 Olympic Trials. He then followed coach Frank Gagliano to Eugene to run for OTC Elite last year.
