Filmed on 3/19/07 - Eugene, OR - Cack Ferrell reminisces about how she became a runner and how an aspect of her journey to running has helped her to this day.
Cack Ferrell steadily improved though out college earning three NCAA Division I All-American honors in cross-country at Princeton University. Ferrell has continued that trend of improvement in Eugene, OR training under Frank Gagliano and the Oregon Track Club Elite team. She surprised some when she made the World Cross Country team for the United States last February, but she surprised more when at the World Cross Country Championships in Mombasa, Kenya last March she was the U.S.'s top finisher placing 30th in the world. Cack ran earned personal bests in the 1500m (4:20), 5000m (15:42) and 10,000m (33:31) this spring on the track.
